Common Questions

Where can I find my CUPE BC endorsed candidates?

You can find your local candidates through our Find Your Candidates tool. There you'll find a list of the candidates who are being supported by CUPE BC members in your community.

Where and when do I vote?

Go to the Find Your Candidates tool and submit your address. On that page, you'll see a link with more information about where and when to vote in your community.

How did you decide who to endorse?

CUPE BC locals in almost every community took the time to compare the candidates running in these local elections. They looked at where the candidates stand on important issues.

After extensive review, they created a list of endorsed candidates who will support smart investments to make the local community better, like more access to recreation facilities, support for libraries, and safer classrooms and schools for our kids.

The other people who are running will cut back on services like these. This will hurt our local community.

That's why CUPE BC members, including your local presidents, will be voting for these endorsed candidates. We encourage you to join them.

Why is there no endorsed candidate in my area?

It may be the case that CUPE locals in your community are still reviewing candidates. It could also be the case that they have decided to not endorse any candidates.

If you pledge your vote, we'll make sure we send you the latest information about who has been endorsed.
